Wanda Elizabeth (Chapman) Witty, 88, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Sunday, August 11th, at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Calvert City, KY.
Wanda was born in Tompkinsville, KY on June 28, 1936, a daughter of the late Bircha Etta (Strode) and William Issac Chapman.
She married Leceil Witty on July 3, 1954, who precedes her in death.
Wanda is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Freda and Gary Thompson, of Paducah, KY; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Sewell of Tompkinsville, KY and Laverene Frazier of Louisville, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her husband and parents she is preceded in death by her siblings, Med, Fred D., William Hascal, and Charles Edward Chapman and two sisters, Nelda Holloway and Ada Mae Chapman.
Graveside services and burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, August 14th at Skaggs Creek Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
