Wanda Lee (White) Cleary, 81, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Wednesday, August 23rd, at Barren County Nursing and Rehab.
Wanda was born in Tompkinsville, KY on February 19, 1942, a daughter of the late Thelma (Gearlds) and Denton White.
Wanda worked for 33 years in sewing factories. She was a member of Maeshack Missionary Baptist Church. Wanda enjoyed being a house cleaner, visiting with family and friends, dancing, music, and playing cards. She was a hard worker and didn't sit still much.
She married Jackie Keith Cleary, who preceded her in death.
Wanda is survived by a son, Ricky "Poke" Cleary, of Tompkinsville, KY; three grandchildren, Sierra Cleary, Ashley Page, and husband, Christopher, Lacy York, and husband, Wesley; six great grandchildren, Mason Marshall, Grayson, Griffin, Noah, Paisley, and Cooper.
Wanda is also survived by three sisters, Willodean Pitcock, Sue Wilson, Joyce Massingille and a brother, Jimmy White, all of Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Modelle Carter, Mae Thompson and Mary Jewell Hagan.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
Visitation is Saturday, 5-8 p.m., and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
