Vernie May (Chandler) Arnett, 90, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Saturday, December 28th, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Vernie was born in Tompkinsville, KY on March 12, 1934, a daughter of the late Cuba Francis (Strode) and John Chandler.
On June 27, 1970, she married Ezra Truman Arnett at the home of OB Page. He preceded her in death on February 26, 2004.
Vernie enjoyed planting flowers, sewing and taking care of her cats.
Vernie is survived by two sons Jason Arnett, and wife, Cristy, and John Arnett, both of Tompkinsville, KY; three grandchildren, Madison, Hannah and Emily Arnett.
Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Pernie Chandler.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 31st at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Freedom #2 Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday morning after 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
