Truen Davis Graves, 80, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, October 9th, at his home.
Truen was born in Monroe County, KY on February 24, 1940, a son of the late Arlene Jones Graves Walden and Ewing Graves.
On October 25, 1958, he married Louise Gordon in Tompkinsville, KY.
He was retired from Hagan & Stone.
Truen is survived by his wife, Louise Graves, four sons and daughter-in-laws, Larry and Brenda Graves, Eddie and Loretta Graves, Thomas and Sherry Graves, and Billy and Leanne Graves, all of Tompkinsville, KY, 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Truen is also survived by two sisters, Caroline Graves and Morene Sheffield,
two brothers, Johnny Graves and Freddie Graves, all of Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two daughters, Brenda White and Wanda Moore, one brother, James Walden, and one sister, Thelma Graves.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 12th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
Visitation is Sunday, 5-8 PM, and Monday, after 8 AM until service time at 1PM at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
Burial is in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
For the protection of Mr. Graves' family, it is kindly asked for anyone coming to the services to abide by Governor Beshear's recommendation of wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. No public lounge is available at this time due to COVID-19.
