Tommy Willett, 70, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020, in Tompkinsville, KY.
Tommy was born in New Orleans, LA, on May 14, 1950, a son of the late Elizabeth "Libby" (Harlan) and Tom Willett.
He was Co-owner of Pure Drug Company in Tompkinsville where he was a pharmacist for over 30 years. He later served as Monroe County Judge Executive for eight years. He was a member of Tompkinsville First United Methodist Church.
He was united in marriage to Elizabeth "Liz" Ann (Young) Willett on October 6, 1972. Liz preceded him in death on November 17, 2013.
Tommy is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Melissa Willett, of Scottsville, KY; Scott and Kristin Willett, of Elizabethtown, KY; four grandchildren, Hayden, Kate, Clay, and Carter Willett.
Tommy is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Tony High, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 11th at Tompkinsville First United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 10 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Yokley Trible Funeral Home and again on Friday from 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Tompkinsville First United Methodist Church.
Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Oak Hill Cemetery.
For the protection of Mr. Willett's family, it is kindly asked for anyone coming to the services to abide by Governor Beshear's recommendation of wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. No public lounge is available at this time due to COVID-19.
