Thomas "Shotgun" Graves, 60, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Monday, February 2nd, while in the company of family, at his residence.
Thomas was born in Tompkinsville, KY on September 13, 1965, a son of Louise (Gordon) Graves and the late Truen Graves.
He graduated from Tompkinsville High School class of 1983, he worked as a logger all his life, he loved the outdoors, spending time with his family and was a member of the Calvary Christian Church.
He married Sherry White May 20, 1984 at his parents home in Monroe County.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 41 years Sherry White Graves, a daughter, Stephanie, wife of David Rice, of Tompkinsville, KY; two sons Kelby, husband of Ashley Graves, of Tompkinsville, KY; James Graves, of Tompkinsville, KY; is also survived by 1 grandchild, Gunner Ray Graves
Thomas is also survived by three brothers, Larry, husband of Brenda Graves, of Tompkinsville, KY; Eddie, husband of Loretta Graves, of Tompkinsville, KY; Billy Graves, of Tompkinsville, KY, 2 brothers-in-law, Jake White and Billy Joe Moore and several nieces and nephews.
His father, Truen Graves, sisters, Brenda White and Wanda Moore and sister-in-law, Lee Ann (Shirley) Graves preceded him in death.
Funeral Service will be held 1 PM on Saturday, February 7th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Brother Tim White will officiate.
Visitation will be held 5:30 PM to 8 PM on Friday, February 6th and 8 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, February 7th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.
Burial will follow at Wilson Basil Cemetery, in Tompkinsville, KY.
