Stevie Conkin, 65, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, May 5th, at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN.
Stevie was born in Tompkinsville, KY on February 10, 1957, a son of the late Margaret (Wood) and Regie Conkin.
He was a 1976 graduate of Tompkinsville High School, he trained at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Metallurgy Division & worked at Beldon Wire & Cable in quality control and attended Liberty Methodist Church.
Stevie is survived by a son, Michael Conkin, and wife, Jayme; two grandchildren, Riley Rose & Hayes Monroe Conkin all of Larkspur, CO.
He is also survived by two sisters, Sheryl Conkin & Sandy Moore, and husband, Larry all of Tompkinsville, three brothers, Glen Dale Conkin of Tompkinsville, Richard "Dickie" Conkin, of Celina, TN and Brett Conkin, of Tompkinsville, KY;
His parents Regie & Margaret Conkin and brother, Regie Thomas Conkin Jr. preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, May 10th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, Mark Kendall and Larry Graves will officiate, burial will follow at the Liberty Cemetery.
Visitation is 5 to 8 PM, Monday, May 9, 2022, and Tuesday, 6:00 AM until service time at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stevie's memory may be made to the Liberty Cemetery.
