Sherrie "Sherrie Berrie" Adams, 59, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 15th, at Medical Center of Bowling Green.
Sherrie was born in Evansville, IN on October 26, 1963, a daughter of the late Audrey (Irvin) Randall and Paul Spears.
On June 20, 1981, she was united in marriage to Morris Adams by Bro. Doug Copas.
Sherrie has been a member of Tompkinsville First Baptist Church since 1982, where she was a member of the WMU. She worked as a LPN at Monroe County Medical Center for 13 years, she worked as a tech while attending school. Sherrie enjoyed life, she had traveled to Hawaii, New York City and especially loved the mountains. She had a trip to the mountains planned and was thinking of a cruise soon. Sherrie had a love for dogs, she was a dog mama to Millie B., Nicky J., Sadie Jane and Baby Max who have already passed and currently had Bella.
Sherrie is survived by her husband of 42 years, Morris Adams, of Tompkinsville, KY; special friends who were like her sisters, Sharon Emmert, Virginia and Debra Stokes, Leonetta Cook, Drenda Hockley and E.J. Blohm.
Sherrie is also survived by three brothers, Paul D. Spears (Amanda), Brian Keith Spears, both of Hestand, KY; Johnny Goins (Tommie), of Tompkinsville, KY; brothers-in-law, Doyle Adams (Patty), of Bowling Green, KY, Jackie Adams of Tompkinsville, KY; sisters-in law, Marie Humes and Wanda Adams, both of Tompkinsville, KY; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant brother, David Allen and brothers-in-law, Joe Adams and Jesse James Humes, Mitchell Ford, and sisters-in-law, Marlene Adams and Shirley Ford.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 19th at Tompkinsville First Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Tom Stokes officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
Visitation is Friday, 4-8 p.m., at Yokley Trible Funeral Home and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Tompkinsville First Baptist Church.
