Sara Jo (Vinson) Turner

Sara Jo (Vinson) Turner, 70, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, October 5th, at Monroe County Medical Center.

Sara was born in Tompkinsville, KY on August 14, 1953, a daughter of the late Eva Lucille (Hackett)  and Homer Tommy Lee Vinson.

Sara is survived by a sister, Betty  Isenberg, of Tompkinsville, KY;  a brother, Travis Vinson, and wife, Martha, of Gamaliel, KY; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Vinson, of Lafayette, TN; Alice Fay England, of Hestand, Ky and Emma Jean Vinson, of Tompkinsville, KY; four grandchildren, Dillon Thomas Turner, Dustin Tyler Turner, Eternity De'An Bray and Ethan Scott Turner, and four great grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by a son, Christopher Wayne Turner, brothers, Harold Gray, Donald Ray and Comas Clay Vinson.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Bailey Cemetery. Bro. Gary Emberton will officiate the service.

Visitation is Saturday, 5-8 p.m. and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sara's memory are suggested to Bailey Cemetery or funeral  expenses.
