Sallie Marolynn Adams, 70, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Sunday, January 15th, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Marolynn was born in Gamaliel, KY on March 27, 1952, a daughter of the late Clara (Page) and Arthur Parke.
On October 3, 1970, she married Jackie Adams at the home of Sallie Page.
Throughout her life, Marolynn worked at Red Kap, Key Work Clothes, and the Quick Shop. She was a member of Monroe Baptist Church.
Marolynn is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jackie Adams, of Tompkinsville, KY, two daughters, Kathy Ford, and husband, Michael, of Tompkinsville, KY; Lorrie Kelton, and husband, Johnny, of Tompkinsville, KY; and a son,Bradley Adams, of Tompkinsville, KY; 7 grandchildren, Jordan (Erin), Mandie, Brandie, Julie (Clint), Sarah (Lucas), Adam (Paige), and Paige and 6 great grandchildren, Autumn, J.T., Gabriel, Trinity, River Dale and Briar Phillips.
She is also survived by two sisters, Barbara Brumley, and Beth Barnard, and husband, Roy, both of Illinois; and three brothers, Arthur "Butch" Parke, and wife, Gail, of Bowling Green, KY; Mark Parke, and wife, Sue, of Illinois and Jack Parke, of Illinois.
She is preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Scott Adams.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 17th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.
Visitation is Monday, January 16, 4-8 p.m., and Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 12 noon at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
