Ruphene Walden

Martha Ruphene (Botts) Walden, 92, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, November 13th, at Signature Health Care of Monroe County. 

Ruphene was born in Monroe County, KY  on July 19, 1928, a daughter of the late Milan Beatrice (Bushong) and Fred Botts.

She married Roy H Walden, on July 3, 1948. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2001.

Ruphene is survived by a daughter, and son-in-law, Beatrice and Jim Spears, of Tompkinsville, KY, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
 
Other than her husband and parents she is preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Kaye Walden Poynter, two sons, Bobby Howard and Benny Wayne Walden, two brothers, William Rex Botts and Fred Lavon Botts, and one sister, Mamie Darlene Carter, one grandchild and one great grandchild. 

Funeral services will be held Sunday November 15, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home with burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn. 

Visitation with the family will be Sunday after 11:00 A.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

For the protection of Mrs. Walden's family it is kindly asked for anyone coming to services to abide by Governor Beshears recommendation of wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. Please refrain from physical touch in hopes of decreasing the spread of the virus. No public lounge is available at this time due to Covid-19.
