Ruby Chloe Short Eubank, 85, of Louisville, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 21st, at Seneca Place in Louisville, KY.
Ruby Chloe was born in Monroe County, KY on January 11, 1938, a daughter of the late Nannie Morene (Collins) and John Clenon Short.
She worked on the assembly line at Ford Motor for 10 years, and she worked at Olan Mathison Ammunition Plant for 5 years.
Ruby Chloe is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Stevens, of Louisville, KY; a son, Michael Eubank, and wife, Luvie, of Louisville, KY; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Ruby Chloe is also survived by sisters, Judy Short, of Glasgow, KY, Jackie Firkins, and husband, Tim, of Louisville, KY; and Barbara Cleary, and husband, Paul, of Glasgow, KY; and brothers, Danny Short, of Conway, SC; Ricky Short, and wife, Debbie, of Loxley, AL; Wayne Short, of Tompkinsville, KY; Steve Short, and wife, Margie, of Mud Lick, KY and Charles Short, and wife, Carolyn, of Glasgow, KY; and sister-in-law, Janice Short of Mud Lick, KY.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Junior Eubank, two brothers, James and Clyde Short, and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Short, and brother-in-law, Shorty Walker.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 26th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY at 1:00 p.m., burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is after 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning until service time at 1:00 p.m, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
