Robert Samuel Isenberg, 84, passed away in Louisville, Kentucky on February 14, 2025. He was born on December 21, 1940, in Smiths Grove, Kentucky to his late parents, Emma and Samuel Isenberg.
He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and a faithful member of his church, Gulley Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Tompkinsville, Kentucky. He retired from GE after 30 years of service, he loved being with his grandchildren, watching The University of Kentucky play basketball, and was an avid golfer. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Barbara Jones, Joy Isenberg, and Douglas Isenberg.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia (Russell) Isenberg; children, Renee Lewis (Bart) and Robert Todd Isenberg; grandchildren, Jacob, Jenna (Cole), and Samuel; sister-in-law, Maude Isenberg; many nieces and one nephew.
Robert will have a visitation at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 3:00-8:00 PM EST. He will have another visitation at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, 510 West 4th St., Tompkinsville, Kentucky 42167, on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 10:00-1:00 PM CST. The funeral service will start at 1:00 PM CST with burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
