Reba (Russell) Ballard, 88, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Wednesday, October 20th, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Reba was born in Monroe County, KY on April 12, 1933, a daughter of the late Mae (Hale) and Dock Russell. She married Harley Ballard on October 30, 1954 in Celina, TN, He preceded her in death April 17, 2001. She was a member at Tompkinsville First Baptist Church
Reba is survived by two daughters, Regina Turner, of Tompkinsville, KY; Roetta, wife of Steve Arnett, of Tompkinsville, KY; two sons, Richard Ballard, of Tompkinsville, KY; Reggie Ballard, of Celina, TN.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Shane Turner (Sarah), Brandi Young (Bobby), Jeff Ballard, Brad Arnett (Jessica), Kaci Dubree (Terry David), Hope Presley (Kevin), Bucket Sharp (Chad), David Ballard (Raven) & Cody Ballard & 18 great-grandchildren
Reba is also survived by two sisters, Earline Jackson, of Vernon, AL; Jarline Bernd, of Indianapolis, IN.
Her parents, Dock & Mae Russell, husband, Harley Ballard, brothers, Bill, Dewey "Dude", Jim & Joe Russell, sisters, Nova Strong and Mary Belle Vance, daughter-in-law, Peggy Head Ballard, foster child, Ricky Burks & great-grandchild, Karoline Arnett preceded her in death.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, October 24th at Tompkinsville First Baptist Church in Tompkinsville, KY.
Visitation will be held 4:30 PM to 8 PM on Saturday, October 23rd at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY; 6 AM to 1 PM on Sunday, October 24th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.
Burial is in Monroe County Memorial Lawn, KY.
