Randall D. Spears, 78, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, September 11th, surrounded by his family at his daughters home.
Randall was born in Hestand, KY on April 1, 1946, a son of the late Delma Lee (Smith) and Arlie Spears.
He married Judy Walden in 1968.
Randall served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a carpenter for many years.
Randall is survived by his wife, Judy Spears, of Tompkinsville, KY; a daughter, April Bean (Roger), of Hermitage Springs, TN; daughter-in-law, Melissa Emberton, of Hestand, KY; four grandchildren, Chelsea Wood (Dylan), Chantz Spears (Maddie), Emerson Bean and Camden Bean; and three great grandchildren, Cohen Wood, Lakely Spears and Landri Spears.
Randall is also survived by three sisters, Shirley Eversole, of Glasgow, KY; Loretta Braun, of Indianapolis, IN and Linda Parr, of Hestand, KY; two brothers, George Spears, of Hermitage Springs, TN; Joe Spears, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Randall Shane Spears and two brothers, Willie Glenn Spears and Freddie Russell Spears.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 15th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Bailey Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday, 4-8 p.m., and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:30 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
