Rachel Inez Bryant, 82, of Gamaliel, KY passed away Wednesday, July 9 at Monroe County Medical Center.
Inez was born on May 21, 1943, a daughter of the late Edgar and Hattie Georgie (Walker) Graves.
On November 4, 1955, she married Freddie Wayne Bryant, who survives.
Inez worked in garment factories and farmed. She was a member of Gamaliel Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband, Freddie Bryant, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Michael Thompson, of Gamaliel, KY, Debbie Kaye and Kenneth Jackson, of Fountain Run, KY; a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas W. and Gretta Bryant, of Moss, TN; 8 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Also surviving is a sister, Modelle Kerr, and husband Marrs.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one grandchild, brothers, Carson, Carlie and Carlos Graves, sisters, Alma Dane Walker and husband Stanley, and two infant sisters, Lizzie and Sharly.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 11 at 1:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday morning after 10:00 a.m until service time at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Inez’s memory may be made to assist the family with a monument.
