Penny Joyce Copas, 49, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 26th, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Penny was born in Tompkinsville, KY on February 28, 1975, a daughter of Shelby (York) Hull and the late Charles Thomas Adams.
On September 11, 1998, she married Chris Copas at the Monroe County Courthouse.
Penny was of Baptist Faith. She enjoyed being with her family and friends.
Penny is survived by her husband, Chris Copas, mother and stepfather, Shelby and Michael Hull, both of Tompkinsville, KY; three daughters, Amanda Ray, of Tompkinsville, KY; April Bush, of Red Boiling Springs, TN; Kristina Mansell, of Tompkinsville, KY and a son, Aaron Copas, of Tompkinsville, KY; 4 grandchildren, Jacob and Vanneka Ray and Kayla and Elizabeth Bush.
Penny is also survived by two sisters, Kim Hammer, of Tompkinsville, KY and Donna Howard, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than her father, Charles Thomas Adams, she is preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Head.
Cremation has been chosen as this was Penny's wishes. A service will be held later by her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Penny's memory may be made to the funeral home.
