Paula Denise (Houchens) Thompson

Paula Denise Thompson, 59, of  Tompkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, July 9th, suddenly, at her Residence. 

Paula was born in Louisville, KY on November 7, 1966, a daughter of the late Janet (Bartley) and Melvin Houchens. She had worked at TES, Houchens & baby sitting.  She was of the church of christ faith, was baptized at Berea Church of Christ & attended Rock Valley Church of Christ .

Paula is survived by her husband, Mikel Thompson of Tompkinsville, uncle, Tim Bartley of Tompkinsville &  several extended family & friends.

Her parents, Melvin & Janet Houchens, infant brother, Melvin Timothy Houchens preceded her in death.

Private graveside services were held Monday, July 13, 2026. Jason Thompson officiated.

Burial  Monroe County Memorial Lawn, Tompkinsville, KY.
