Patricia "Pat" (Hood) Cornwell

Patricia (Hood) Cornwell, 77, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, January 23rd, at Signature HC of Monroe County. 

Patricia was born in Flippin, KY on November 12, 1947, a daughter of the late Eula (Davis) and Radford Hood.

Pat was a LPN at the nursing home in Tompkinsville for 46 years. She was very caring and dedicated to her work. She cared for many patients in all those years. She was married to the late Roger Cornwell for 43 years, he preceded her in death October 31, 2011.

Patricia is survived by three daughters, Patrice, wife of Brent Ayres, of Glasgow, KY;  
Christie Copass & fiancé Matt Blankenship, of Tompkinsville, KY;  
Jan Cornwell & fiancé Jamie Lee Dugard, of Scottsville, KY; she is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, Kelsea Copass & Megan (Copass) Britt & Gus & Avery Ayres, Patricia is also survived by a sister, Janet Hood, of Tompkinsville, KY. 

Other than her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Radford & Eula Hood.
 
Funeral Service will be held 1 PM on Monday, January 27th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Brother Gene Gearlds will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held 4 PM to 8 PM on Sunday, January 26th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY & 8 AM to 1 PM on Monday, January 27th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.

Burial Skaggs Creek Cemetery, Tompkinsville, KY.
