Ocie Delmer Adams
Ocie Delmer Adams, 91, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, August 6th, at T.J. Sampson Community Hospital, in Glasgow.
Ocie was born in Tompkinsville, Ky on May 2, 1922, a son of the late Florence (Humes) and Everett Adams.
On April 13, 1945, he married Olene (White) Adams, who precededs him in death.
He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. And, he worked as a farmer for many years.
Ocie is survived by four daughters, Robbie Fornoff, of Tompkinsville, KY; Helen Bryant, of Tompkinsville, KY; Bonnie Sewell, of Tompkinsville, KY; Edna York, of Scottsville, KY; and three sons Sammy Adams, of Tompkinsville, KY; Jackie Adams, of Tompkinsville, KY; Truman Adams, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Ocie is also survived by several granchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by 2 sons; Wayne and Tom Adams, 1 daugther, Caroline Bryant, 5 brothers, Fred, Earbie, Ivan, Hazel and Clurie Adams. Also, 2 sisters, Modie Daniels and Ovie Hutcherson.
Graveside Services will be held at Old Mt. Herman Cemetery at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 8th, with Mark Bow, Tom Hull and Jack Paul Scott officiating.
Arrangements are under Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
