Nina B. Anderson, 87, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, April 29th, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Nina was born in Tompkinsville, KY on December 31, 1933, a daughter of the late Rosa Mae Short.
Nina was a avid cook, seamstress and gardener. She was of Church of Christ faith.
Nina is survived by three daughters, Patricia Blythe, and husband, Jim; Judy Wiley, and husband, David, both of Tompkinsville, KY, Sheila Eaton, and husband, Chris, of Glasgow, KY; a son, James Kilmon, and wife, Betty, of Franklin, KY; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Nina is also survived by a sister, Nelma Odle, of Tompkinsville, KY and a brother, Jerry Kilmon, and wife, Katy, of Clayton, IN.
She is preceded in death by three sons, Mickey, David and Keith Kilmon; two grandchildren, Lee Wiley and Paul Kilmon, three sisters, Gladys Blythe, Cledith Johnson, and Jean Hunter; two brothers, William "Bill" Short, and Mann Kilmon.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation is Sunday, 4-8 PM, and Monday after 6:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nina's memory may be made to Monroe County Backpack Program.
For the protection of Mrs. Anderson's family, it is kindly asked for anyone coming to the service to abide by Governor Beshears recommendation of wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. No public lounge is available at this time due to Covid-19.
