Nancy Louise (Propes) Spear, 85, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Monday, December 30th, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Nancy was born in Tompkinsville, KY on May 24, 1939, a daughter of the late Martha Cordeila (Ballard) and Albert Denton Propes.
Nancy was a homemaker and caregiver. She attended Grandview Church of Christ. Nancy's favorite flower was yellow roses and had several Indian collectibles.
Nancy is survived by her life partner, Roy "Junie" Hoffman, of Tompkinsville, KY;
two daughters, Debbie L. Gammon, and companion, Steve Walls, of The Villages, FL;
Nancy Darlene Foster, of Tompkinsville, KY; a son, Robert "Ted" Spear, of Plainfield, IN; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Nancy is also survived by three sisters, Nella Stewart, of Tompkinsville, KY; Becky Rhoton, of Tompkinsville, KY; Patty Adams, of Bowling Green, KY and a brother, Jack Propes, of Coatsville, IN.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Billy Joe Spear, sister, Shirley Vibbert and brothers, Michael, Boyd, Mac, and Danny Ray Propes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3rd at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Mt. Poland Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday morning after 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's memory may be made to Mt. Poland Cemetery.
