Michael Ray York, 48, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 24th, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Michael was born in Glasgow, KY on December 29, 1976, a son of Debra Ann (Puckett) and the late Ervin Clay York.
He was employed at Tompkinsville Auto Salvage as a parts puller. In his spare time, Michael enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.
On October 31, 1999, Michael married Jennifer L. Eldridge in Tompkinsville, Kentucky.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer York; his daughter, Emily Michelle Ann York, both of Tompkinsville, Kentucky; his mother, Debra Ann York, of Munfordville, KY; one brother, John Wayne York, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky; grandmother, Geraldine Childress, nephews, Christopher York & Payton Eldridge, sister-in-law, Lisa Eldridge, his beloved fur baby, Brownie; and several special friends who will deeply miss him.
His dad, Ervin Clay York, grandparents, Ervin Ray and Clara York preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, with Barry Davis officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
