Mary (Gearlds) Ford

Mary Ford, 74, of Gamaliel, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 7th, surrounded by her family at her home. 

Mary was born in Glasgow, KY on December 27, 1951, a daughter of the late Olene (Anderson) and Charlie Geralds.

On May 10, 1985, she married Tim Ford, who precedes her in death.

Mary was a retired factory worker. She enjoyed her family, especially her great grandchildren and all the little ones. She was a member of Gamaliel Baptist Church.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Linda Pitcock, and husband, Ricky, of Tompkinsville, KY;  a son, Steven Turner, and wife, Shaunta of Tompkinsville, KY;  7 grandchildren, Chelsie Emberton (Johnathan), Johnathan Pitcock, Logan Pitcock, Jaxson Tuner (Kaley), Jailyn Eastman (Drew), Jeremiah Turner and Allie Turner and 11 great grandchildren.

Mary is also survived by two sisters, Nancy Fox, of Gamaliel, KY;  Judi  Ford, of Tompkinsville, KY; two brothers, Stevie Geralds (Carol) of Red Boiling Springs, TN;  Roger Gearlds (Joanna) , of Gamaliel, KY; sister-in-law, June Geralds, and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Larry Geralds, brother-in-law, Kenneth Ford, and sister-in-law, Deborah Geralds.
 
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Gamaliel Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday, 4-8 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
