Mary Lou (Birge) Brandon

Rock Hill – Mary Lou Birge Brandon, 80, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at her home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on March 4, 2022 on Mrs. Brandon’s birthday. Details will be announced.

Born in Tompkinsville, KY, Mrs. Brandon was the daughter of the late Ancle Floyd Birge and the late Maxie Olene Lynn Birge.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Fonice Leon, and Randall Floyd Birge; her sisters, Wanda Sue Harlan, and Brenda Faye Williams; her companion, Roger Wayne Allmon.  She was retired from Westinghouse-Siemans Corporation, Charlotte with 32 years of service.

Mrs. Brandon is survived by her two daughters, Georgetta (Frank) McGuire of Murrells Inlet, SC, and Sherry Brandon of Rock Hill; her five grandchildren, Brandon Gross, Jonathan McGuire, Zacary Brandon, Cayce McGuire, and Lynsie Brandon; her three great-grandkids, Indigo, Lincoln and Olin; two brothers, Donald Leroy (Pat) Birge and Rondall Morriss (Pat) Birge,; three sisters, Judy Alene Emberton of Gainesboro, TN, Connie Mae (Benny) Younger of Bowling Green, KY, and Wilma Dean (Paul) Barnes of Glasgow, KY; 15 nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary L. Brandon’s name to Agape Hospice, 1326 Ebenezer Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732.
