Mark Copas, 55, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, October 25th, at Macon County Community Hospital in Lafayette, TN.
Mark was born in Monroe County, KY on November 29, 1966, a son of the late Jo Francis (Bushong) and Marlin Copas.
On July 3, 1993, he married Jackie Chapman at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
He was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. He was the owner of Copas Construction and spent a lot of time farming and in the hayfield.
Mark is survived by his wife, Jackie Copas; a daughter, Erica Cleary, and husband, Joe Harlan and one grandson, Callum H. Cleary, all of Tompkinsville, KY.
Mark is also survived by two sisters, Sharon Williams and husband, Tommy, and Karen Copas; and nine brothers, Jackie, Kenny, Jerry and wife, Leoma, Gary, Greg and his wife, Chuin, Terry, Eddie and wife, Donna, Tony and wife, Carol, and Kelly Copas.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Kaye Copas.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at White Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday, 5-8 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
