Lovell Emberton Obituary
Lovell Turner Emberton, 85, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, September 24th, at her home.
Lovell was born in Monroe County, KY on November 16, 1935, a daughter of the late Florence (Arterburn) and Burley Turner.
She was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. She worked as a CNA at Signature Health Care for over 25 years.
On April 23, 1955, she married Wendell Ray Emberton. Wendell preceded her in death on April 22, 2017.
Lovell is survived by two daughters, Karen Spear, and husband, Tony, of Lebanon, TN;
Lori Emberton Pedigo, of Tompkinsville, KY; two grandchildren, Amber Rose, and husband, Adam and Seth Pedigo, and girlfriend, Amy Fletcher; one great grandchild, Kenslea Rose.
Lovell is also survived by two sisters, Velma Proffitt, and husband, Morris, of Shepardsville, KY; and Glenda Brady, and husband, Adrian, of Westmoreland, TN.
a brother, Thurman Turner, and wife, Bonnie, of Danville, IN.
Other than her husband and parents, Lovell is preceded in death by a great grandson, Jonsen Ray Pedigo; brothers, Arnold and Clayton Turner; and a sister, Bernice Turner.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 9th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Visitation with the family is after 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lovell's memory may be made to Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.
