Louise Osgatharp Obituary
Evelyn Louise (Head) Osgatharp, 92, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Monday, December 27th, at her home.
Louise was born in Center Point, KY on March 14, 1929, a daughter of the late Alma (Ross) and William Clurie Head.
On September 18, 1949, she married Edward Wayne Osgatharp, who precedes her in death.
She was a 1947 graduate of Tompkinsville High School. After high school she attended David Lipscomb College. She was a substitute teacher, farmer, mother, and keeper of the home.
Louise is survived by two sons John Richard Osgatharp, of Tompkinsville, KY; Lewis Ed Osgatharp, and wife, Sheila, of Gadsden, AL; three grandchildren, Jason Lee Osgatharp (Amanda), Jessica Brooke Osgatharp Ganus (Bill), Joshua Bryant Osgatharp; and six great grandchildren.
Louise is also survived by a brother, Dr. James Ross Head (Barbara), of Franklin, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, William Eagle Head, sister and brother-in-law, Helen Joyce Head and Tommy Downing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 30th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Burial to follow at Moss Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday morning after 10:00 AM until service time, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Louise's memory may be made to Center Point Cemetery or Moss Cemetery.
