Lola (Walker) Brown

Lola (Walker) Brown, 98, of  Tompkinsville, KY passed away Monday, May 3rd, at Monroe County Medical Center.

Lola was born in Monroe County, KY on February 6, 1923, a daughter of the late Viney and Tom  Walker.

On July 9, 1938, she married Eddie A. Brown. Eddie preceded her in death on January 4, 2005.

She worked at Roslyn Bakery for 25 years and was a life long member at the Hickory Ridge Church of Christ.

Lola is  survived by two sons, Ronnie Brown, and wife, Janie, of Fortville, IN and Sam Brown, and wife, Sue, of San Antonio, TX, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
 
Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a beloved granddaughter and all of her siblings, Annie Cleary, Clurie, Sam, Elmer and Truman Walker.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 7th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Burial to follow at Hickory Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 PM, and Friday morning after 9:00 AM until service time.

For the protection of Mrs. Brown's family, it is kindly asked for anyone coming to the services to abide by Governor Beshear's recommendation of wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. No public lounge is available at this time due to Covid-19.
