Linda Ann (Collins) Murphy, 79, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at NHC in Barren County, KY.
Linda was born on May 18, 1945, a daughter of the late Tommy and Ina (Coe) Collins.
Linda graduated from Tompkinsville High School. She worked at Clay Sportswear for 15 years. Linda was of the church of Christ Faith.
On October 1st, 1965, she married Freddie Max “Pete” Murphy, who preceded her in death.
Linda is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; David and Lesa Murphy and Cam and Beverly Murphy, all of Tompkinsville, KY; three grandchildren, Melinda Davis (Chad), Trent Murphy and Logan Murphy (Hannah) and two great grandchildren, Carrison and Riggs Davis; and her beloved dog, Phoenix. Also surviving is a sister, Jesse Romaine (Mel) of Columbus, OH.
Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Petelyn Murphy and infant brother, Clifton Earl Collins.
Funeral services will be held at Yokley Trible Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 24, with burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Kevin Dyer will officiate the service.
Visitation is Sunday, 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
