Kevin Roy Howard, 71, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 30th, at his home.
Roy was born in Tompkinsville, KY on June 13, 1951, a son of the late Mable (Howard) and Robert "Bob" Howard.
He was a faithful member of Rock Valley Church of Christ. He loved attending and singing at church. Roy will be remembered for a lot of good things but especially his go-to baby gift of a bib, bottle and rattler for anyone who was expecting. Roy enjoyed working on the farm such as feeding the cows and cutting hay. His most favorite past time was riding to town and getting any food, especially a hamburger.
He is survived by special friend, Steve Myatt of Tompkinsville; legal guardian, Darlene Fletcher of Tompkinsville; brother, Charlie Howard of Bowling Green; and a sister, Teresa Wheeler Howard of Florida.
In addition to his mother and father, he is proceeded in death by his brothers, Dan, Jim, and Ricky Howard.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 2nd at 1:00 PM from The Rock Valley Church of Christ in Tompkinsville with Jason Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Yokley -Trible Funeral Home, and will continue on Friday, June 2 starting at 8:00 A.M. and continuing until service time at 1:00 P.M. at the Rock Valley Church of Christ.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Roy's memory may be made to Rock Valley Church of Christ or to Ebenezer Cemetery.
