Judy Gearlds Obituary
Judy Ann (Rich) Gearlds, 73, of Shreveport, LA, formerly of Monroe County, KY, passed away Saturday, March 28th in McCordsville, IN.
Judy was born in Tipton, IN on December 5, 1946, a daughter of the late Addie Kate (Marshall) and John Henry Rich.
She was a member of Freedom #2 Missionary Baptist Church. She was baptized in 1958.
Judy graduated Tompkinsville High School in 1965. She retired from AT&T after 33 years of service.
On April 9, 1965, she married Rondal "Ronnie" Eugene Gearlds, who precedes her in death.
Judy is survived by a son, Timmy Eugene Gearlds, of LA., daughter, Martha Ann McQueen, of McCordsville, IN.; four grandchildren, Michael McQueen (Alisha), Tyler Gearlds, Kristen Gearlds, and Kaite McQueen; four great grandchildren, Brody and Corbin McQueen, Riley Holland and Khloe McQueen.
Judy is also survived by a brother, Dale Rich, and wife, Betty, of Tompkinsville, KY; two sisters-in-law, Sue Gearlds, and husband, Tip, of Tompkinsville, KY; Shirley Pittman, of Indianpolis, IN; aunt, Verna Ann (Marshall) Shadday, and husband, Gene, of Tipton, IN; and many nieces and nephews from Indianapolis, IN and Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, John Michael Rich.
Due to regulations from the Kentucky Governors Office all services will be private.
Burial in Freedom #2 Cemetery.
Pallbearers- Michael McQueen, Tyler Gearlds, Karry Dale Rich and Shannon Rich.
The family would like to mention a few people that they wish could have partaken in Judy's services if the circumstances had been different. The following people were in their hearts: Timmy Gearlds, Kristen Gearlds, Alisha McQueen, Brianna Hale, Brody and Corbin McQueen, Riley Holland, Khloe McQueen, Betty Rich, Tip Gearlds, Diana Gearlds, Danny Gearlds, Ronnie Lee Geralds, "Monday" nieces and nephews, and "Pittman" nephews.
