Juanita Crawford

Juanita Wade  Crawford, 92, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, March 3rd, at Signature Health Care of Monroe County.

 

Juanita was born in Louisville, KY on February 22, 1931, a daughter of the late Iva (Birge) and Otis Wade.

 

On April 26, 1948, she married McAden "Mack" Crawford in Columbia, KY. Mack preceded her in death on March 8, 2001.

 

Juanita worked at KEY Work Clothes for 23 years. She was a member at Mt. Poland Missionary Baptist Church.

 

Juanita is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Runell Crawford, of Tompkinsville, KY and  David and Linda Crawford, of Alvaton, KY. three grandchildren, Jennifer Cline, and husband, Jeff, Tonya Schween, and husband, Eric, and Tracy Cornwell, and husband, Cary; three great grandchildren, Ciara Myatt, and husband, Dillon, Logan Schwenn and A.J. Cornwell; and two great-great grandchildren, Clay and Corbin Myatt.

 

Funeral services  will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mt. Poland Cemetery.

 

Visitation is Tuesday, 4-8 p.m., and Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at

 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. 

 

The family would like to extend their appreciation and thankfulness to Signature Health Care employees for their care and love shown to Juanita.
