Joy Anne (Courtier) Haithcox

Joy Anne Haithcox,  58, passed away Friday, January 26, at Signature Heath Care of Monroe County.

Joy was born on June 4, 1965 in Mason, Michigan, a daughter of John Courtier and the late Judy Ann Courtier.

On November 26, 1988, she married Eric “J.J.” Haithcox in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

She worked as a CNA for Monroe County Health and Rehab. Joy was also a member of Milltown Baptist Church for 22 years.

Joy is survived by her husband, Eric “J.J.” Haithcox; father, John Courtier, all of Tompkinsville, KY; two sons, William and Eric Haithcox, of Tompkinsville, KY; three daughters, Smeria Haithcox, of Tompkinsville, KY; Kristina Graham of Albany, KY and Mia Engle of Aylett, Virginia; 6 grandchildren.

Also surviving are her siblings, John Courtier, Jamie Courtier, Jason Courtier, Cari, Jenni Danuam and Jube Vanhatten.

Other than her mother, Judy Courtier, she is preceded in death by a grandchild. 

Memorial services will be held Monday, January 29 at 11:00 am at Yokley Trible Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Turner officiating.
