Jonathan Lee Jones

Jonathan Lee Jones, 39, of Gamaliel, KY passed away Monday, April 10th, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN due to an automobile accident.

Jonathan was born in Glasgow, KY on April 13, 1983, a son of Brenda (Jackson) Jones  and the late Johnny Jones.

He was a graduate of Monroe County High School Class of 2002. He worked as a Crane Operator for Mid State Recycling. Jonathan enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, working on the farm, playing pool, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his nieces. He was Baptized by Bro. Danny Pace at Gamaliel Baptist Church in June of 1996. Jonathan will be remembered for his smile, good personality that didn't met a stranger and his kind heart. His last act of love was being a organ donor and giving the gift of life to others when they needed it the most. 

Jonathan is survived by his mother, Brenda Jones and a brother, Nathan Jones, both of Gamaliel, KY; two nieces, Audrina and Kylenn Jones; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive. 

Jonathan is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 16th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Gamaliel Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday, 4-8 p.m., and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jonathan's memory may be made for funeral expenses.
