Johnnie Allen Blythe

Johnnie Blythe, 66, of  Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, July 10th, peacefully, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. 

Johnnie was born in Tompkinsville, KY on September 19, 1959, a son of the late Alene (Shaw) and Edgar Blythe.

Johnnie's favorite employment was farming, he worked at Henkels & McCoy Fiber Optic Cable. He enjoied fishing, dove hunting, playing cards & pulling tractors. He was a member at Oak Hill Church of Christ.

Johnnie is survived by a daughter, Jenny, wife of Curtis Rich, of Red Boiling Springs, TN; a son, Johnathan Blythe, of Tompkinsville, KY; is also survived by 9 grandchildren,  many nieces & nephews and many extended family & friends. Johnnie is also survived by two sisters, Wanda Biggerstaff, of Tompkinsville, KY; Patricia Evans, of Tompkinsville, KY; two brothers, Don, husband of Martha Blythe, of Tompkinsville, KY &  Jimmy Blythe, of Tompkinsville, KY. 
 
His parents, Edgar & Alene Blythe, sister, Mae Biggerstaff, brothers-in -law, John & George Biggerstaff & Rocky Evans preceded him in death.

Funeral Service will be held 1 PM on Tuesday, July 14th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Roger Dale Warren & Jackson Page will officiate.

Visitation will be held 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 14th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.

Burial  White Cemetery, Sulphur Lick, KY.
