John Luke Pitcock, age 7, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 surrounded by his family at his home after a superman worthy fight of a rare neurological disease called PKAN.
John Luke was born on December 3, 2013 in Bowling Green, KY. He attended Tompkinsville Church of Christ with his family. John Luke always had a passion for Jesus Christ and loved singing His praises. His light shined as a toddler and has never dimmed.
John Luke loved the simple things of life, spending days with his daddy on the farm, cuddles from his mama, cowboy boots, Andy Griffith, park dates with friends and ice cream treats. Before John Luke's prognosis became aggressive, he was a student at Joe Harrison Carter Elementary School where he was known for his sweet smile and big personality.
John Luke was loved and supported by his family and is survived by his parents, Chris and Amber (Hagan) Pitcock, sister, Gracie James Pitcock; paternal grandparents, David and Kaye Pitcock; great grandparents, Arlene Downing, and Robert Birch; aunts and uncles, Haley Hagan, Hannah Wheeler (Cory), and Christie Biggerstaff (Kirk).
He is preceded in death by a little sister, Emma Grace Pitcock; maternal grandparents, James and Sherry Hagan.
Funeral services will be held at Tompkinsville Church of Christ on Wednesday, March 24 at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation is Tuesday, March 23, at Tompkinsville Church of Christ from 4-8 PM., and Wednesday after 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
