John William Jordan SR

 John William Jordan SR, 80, of  Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, July 19th, peacefully, at Signature HC of Monroe County. 

John was born in Atlanta, GA on October 15, 1943, a son of the late Sadie "Pat" and John William Jordan, SR.

He worked as a counselor/social worker, city bus driver in Atlanta, was a veteran of the US Navy and was a member at Monroe Baptist Church.

John is  survived by his wife, Edna Turner Jordan of Tompkinsville, daughter, Peggy Ditmore, of Inlet Beech, FL; two sons John Jordan JR, of FL;  Matthew Jordan, of KY;  
a step son,William Turner Bartley, of IN. & brother, Martin Luther Jordan JR of FL, he is also survived by 7 grandchildren

John's wishes were to be cremated, no services scheduled at this time.
