Jessie Frank Long, 80, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away peacefully Saturday, April 9th, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Jessie was born in Tompkinsville, KY on January 28, 1942, a son of the late Mitchell B. Long and Helen Francis Long Daniel.
He was a proud member of the Poplar Log Missionary Baptist Church. Jessie will be remembered by most for his love and skill for the game of pool, being a farm hand to those in the community that needed him and his strong resemblance to Willie Nelson. He was a kind man who loved his family and enjoyed being around anyone who would sit and talk to him, especially if they brought him a cup of McDonald's coffee. Jessie took a ride from nearly everyone in Monroe County because he never knew a stranger.
