Jesse Glen Rich, 77, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022, at the Quality Center Rehab in Lebanon, TN, with his wife, Linda and son, Roy, by his side. He had been a resident there since November 30, 2018.
Jesse was born in Tompkinsville, KY on June 15, 1945, a son of the late Mossie Ceretha (Brown) and Rad Rich.
He was the husband of Linda Cloyd Rich for 53 ½ years, who survives of Tompkinsville, KY. They were married on December 20, 1968.
He was a welder and worked at Stephens Mfg. from 1972 to 1995, when he had open heart surgery and became disabled. Jesse was a veteran of the Vietnam War from 1967-1968, and served in the US Army from 1966 to 1968.
In addition to his wife, Jesse is survived by two sons James Robert Rich (Kelli), of Canon City, CO; Roy Glen Rich (Jessica), of Scottsville, KY; two grandchildren, Olivia Jesslyn and Alexander Jordan Rich, a step granddaughter, Hadley Spencer; one sister, Virginia Kathleen Rich Tade of Glasgow, KY; one sister-in-law, Carol Rich; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than his parents, Jesse is also preceded in death by four brothers, James Edmon, Paul Eugene, George William and Robert "Bobby" Gene Rich.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 26th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Poplar Log Bowman Cemetery, military services will be preformed by Glasgow DAV Chapter 20.
Visitation is Saturday, June 25 from 4-8 p.m., and Sunday, after 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
