Gerald "Jerry" Copass, 71, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, September 30th, at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, TN.
Jerry was born in Tompkinsville, KY on April 27, 1950, a son of the late Eva (King) and Theodore Copass.
He was a Jack of all Trades- farmer, sawmill worker and mechanical technician. Jerry was a member of Tompkinsville First Baptist Church.
Jerry is survived by three daughters, Margaret Jenkins, and husband, Brent, of Lafayette, TN; Marie Brewer, and husband, Paul, of Cookeville, TN; Marcie Davis, and husband, Adam, of Sparta, TN; companion, Phyllis Copass, of Tompkinsville, KY; a step daughter, Christi Likens, of Fountain Run, KY; two step sons, Bobby Likens, of Lafayette, TN; James Harris, of Cookeville, TN; 6 grandchildren, Brandy Blankenship, Brandon Blankenship, Jordan Jenkins, Kayla King Spivey, Dillon Spivey and Dalton Spivey; and a great grandchild, Clover.
Jerry is also survived by two sisters, Janetta Lacer, and husband, Donnie, of Henderson, KY; Pat Hale, of Tompkinsville, KY. and a brother, Carrol Copas, and wife, Bernadine, of Gamaliel, KY.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Brad Copass.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 2nd at Clementsville Cemetery. Visitation is after 9:00 AM on Saturday morning at Clementsville Cemetery.
