Jerry Milton Burkitt

Jerry Milton Burkitt, 76, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Wednesday, February 8th, at his home.

 

Jerry was born in Columbus, IN on October 3, 1946, a son of the late Marilynn (Carpenter) and Robert "Bob" Burkitt.

 

He had previously worked at Batesville Casket MFG. Jerry was also a antique trader.

 

On April 12, 2018, he married Angelena Pedigo Burkitt in Columbus, IN.

 

Jerry is  survived by his wife, Angelena Burkitt, of Tompkinsville, KY; two daughters, Jerri  Hagan, and Michelle Wray, both of Edmonton, KY;  two sons Brian Cecil and Jerald Mullis, both of of Columbus, IN;  a step daughter, Jenny Rich, of Red Boiling Springs, TN;  and two step sons Jeremy Carlisle, of Edmonton, KY and Johnathan  Blythe, of Tompkinsville, KY, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive. 

 

 

Jerry is also survived by a sister, Joy Zeigler of Columbus, IN.

 

Graveside services  and burial will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 12 noon at Centerpoint Cemetery. 

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry's memory may be made for funeral expenses.
