Jean (Ferguson) McPherson

Delma Jean (Ferguson) McPherson, 92, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Friday, March 22nd, at Signature Health Care of Monroe County. 

Jean was born in Monroe County, KY on January 13, 1932, a daughter of the late Annie (Pedigo) and Gardner Ferguson.

On November 6, 1948, she married Robert Edd McPherson, who preceded her in death on February 22, 2023.

She was a member of Mt. Gilead Church of Christ.

Jean is survived by two daughters, Shirley Rawlings (Don Saltsman), of Clarkson, KY;  Linda Carver (John), of Burkesville, KY and a son, Bobby McPherson (Vickie), of Glasgow, KY;  10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
 
She is also survived by two sisters, Hilda Rhoton and Margie Billingsley, both of Tompkinsville, KY and a brother, Rawleigh Ferguson (Elizabeth), of Bloomfield, IN.

Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Rondall Ferguson and two sisters, Cletra Hammer and Betty Ferguson. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn.

Visitation is Monday, 4-8 p.m., and Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
