Jason Matthew Goode, 47, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Friday December 30, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.
He was born March 9, 1975, in Scottsboro Alabama. He was the son of Gene and Sharon (Smith) Goode. Jason was never married.
Jason is survived by his parents, Gene and Sharon Goode of Tompkinsville, KY and a sister and brother-in-law Jennifer (Goode) Schaefer and Danny Schaefer of Lenoir City, one niece (Jessi) and two nephews (Tyler and Tyson). Jason’s extended family includes cousins Amber Deaver (Tom) of Little Rock, AR, and Kylan Smith (Sondra), of Arkansas; and Bob Earl and Ed Earl, both of Texas.
Jason was a member of the Alvaton Church of Christ and had previously attended Mt. Gilead Church of Christ and Berea Church of Christ.
Jason was born in Scottsboro Alabama and moved with his family to Oceola Arkansas when he was two. He spent his elementary years there before moving to Owensboro, KY where he finished high school.
He loved learning new things, especially about the Bible. The aunt he very much loved was a teacher at Harding Academy in Memphis. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Family was very important to Jason and he always enjoyed getting together with any of them or all of them.
