James Earl Emberton, 57, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, August 9th, at his home in the Hickory Ridge Community of Monroe County.
James was born in Tompkinsville, KY on September 1, 1966, a son of the late Margie Nadine (Kerr) and William Luther Emberton.
James married Ervina Vibbert on February 14, 1990, at the Monroe County Courthouse.
He was a 1985 graduate of Tompkinsville High School. He attended Mt. Gilead Church of Christ. He worked as a logger and served in the National Guard for 2 years.
James is survived by his wife, Erivna Emberton, of Tompkinsville, KY; two daughters, Sharon Kay Adams, of Tompkinsville, KY and Shambra LeAnn Money, of Campbellsville, KY; two sons Shane Luther Emberton, and wife, Tasha, of Red Boiling Springs, TN and Steven Money, of Greensburg, KY, 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
James is also survived by a sister, Shirley Gail Adams, of Gamaliel, KY.
three brothers, Wendell Emberton, Gary Emberton and Ricky Emberton, all of Tompkinsville, KY.
Graveside services and burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, August 12th at Old Mt. Herman Cemetery in Tompkinsville, KY.
Arrangements under the direction of Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
