Jack Paul Scott, 88, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 3rd, at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow, KY.
Jack was born in Monroe County, KY on April 15, 1937, a son of the late Grace (Turner) and Sam Claude Scott.
On July 24, 1986, he married Juanita Williams. Jack was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission for the Great Lakes Mission from 1959 to 1961. He worked as a transmission specialist at Jerry’s Transmissions for nine years and proudly served in the United States Army for six years.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Scott, of Tompkinsville, KY; three daughters, Shauna Scott-Bellaccomo, of Salt Lake City, UT; Barbara Reddick, of Edmonton, KY and
Beverly Mills, of Chesterfield, NJ; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Jack is also survived by a sister, Mary Humes, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by two grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Walker and three brothers, Freddie, Charles and William Scott.
Cremation has been chosen, and no services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow, KY in remembrance of Jack.
