Imelda Beatrice (Biggerstaff) White

Imelda Beatrice White,
92, of Shelbyville, passed away October 15, 2023. She was born March 28, 1931 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky to the late Homer and Ima (Grider) Biggerstaff. Imelda married George White, and he preceded her in death. She was an administrative assistant for Farm Bureau Insurance for over 25 years.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 East Washington Street.
Imelda is survived by her children, Renee (John) McKee, and K.C. (Jennifer) White; siblings, Nelda High, Daniel Biggerstaff, Larry Biggerstaff, and Bobby Biggerstaff; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary White.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Gravesides services will be held at Monroe County Memorial Lawn, Friday, October 20, at 2:00 p.m.
