Ida Cassie (Carlock) McCreary

 Ida Cassie (Carlock) McCreary, 96, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, July 27th, at her residence. Ida Cassie was born in Monroe County, KY November 7, 1924, daughter of the late Clyde and Mertie (Harlan) Carlock. She married Stone McCreary, September 1, 1943 at the home of Carlos Carter, he preceded her in death December 11, 2006. She was saved at the Mill Creek Baptist Church in 1937 & has been a member for all those years. She was a homemaker & business lady.

Ida Cassie is survived by three daughters, Helena, wife of  Larry Pitcock, of Tompkinsville, KY; Diana, wife of  Billy Proffitt, of Tompkinsville, KY & Barbara Ruth McCreary, of Grapevine, TX; son, Danny, husband of Cindy McCreary, of Tompkinsville, KY; sister, Bessie Hammer, of Tompkinsville, KY; daughter-in-law, Anna (Burnette) McCreary of Tompkinsville, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 step-great-grandchild & 1 on the way.
 
Parents, Clyde & Mertie (Harlan) Carlock, husband Stone McCreary, son, David McCreary, brothers, J.C. & infant child Jessie Clyde Carlock & sisters, Nina Hammer & Zella Myatt preceded her in death.

Funeral Service will be held 1 PM on Thursday, July 29th at Mill Creek Baptist Church in Tompkinsville, KY. Brothers Darrick Proffitt, Chris Proffitt & Larry Lowe will officiate.

Visitation will be held 4 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, July 28th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. & 8 AM to 1 PM on Thursday, July 29th at Mill Creek Baptist Church in Tompkinsville, KY.

Burial will follow the service at Mill Creek Cemetery.
