Herman Fay Johnson, 65, of Bowling Green, KY, formerly of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, April 25th, at his home.
Fay was born in Tompkinsville, KY on August 28, 1957, a son of the late Grace (Muse) and Walter Johnson.
He was retired from RR Donnelley's after working for 30 years. Fay enjoyed spending time with his kids and being "Pa" to his grandkids. He loved being outside and on his farm in Centerpoint.
Fay is survived by two daughters, Hilary Hammer (Barrett), Holly Dillingham-Steeves (Dave) and a son, Holden Johnson (Morgan); mother of his children, Cindy Johnson, all of Bowling Green, KY; seven grandchildren, Caden, Conlee, Cooper, Mattie, Cara, Corbin and Harper.
He is also survived by sisters, Janice Scott (Keith), of Knights Town, IN, and Becky Greer (Dave), of Greenwood, IN, and several nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Saylor (Don), Helen Johnson and son-in-law, Matthew Dillingham.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday, 4-8 p.m., and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Fay's memory may be made to Oak Hill Cemetery.
