Herman Lanas Gass

Herman Lanas Gass, 76, of Fountain Run, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 30th, at Cal Turner Rehab.

Herman was born on July 3, 1948, a son of the late Edith (York) and Lolas Jackson Gass.

Herman graduated from Gamaliel High School in 1968. He worked at Dollar General in the Warehouse for over twenty years. He served our country in the U.S. Army.

Herman is survived by a daughter, Linda Gayle Moore, of Westmoreland, TN;  
two sons, Scotty Lee Gass, of Fountain Run, KY and Billy Joe Gass, of Fountain Run, KY; three grandchildren, Carissa, Dakota and Tanner.

Herman is also survived by a sister, Betty  Lucille Osborne, of Tompkinsville, KY.
two brothers, Harold  Wayne Gass, of Red Boiling Springs, TN;  Clovis  Lee Gass, of Red Boiling Springs, TN;  

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Ervin Gass, and the mother of his children, Linda Vibbert.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at 2:00 p.m., at Fountain Run Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Fountain Run Cemetery with DAV Chapter 20 performing military rites.

Visitation is after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning until service time.
